OPPORTUNITY REMAX of Texas is expanding its franchise development department and is seeking an individual to add to its team. The role of the �Franchise Development Consultant,� at the direction of the Regional Director, will involve gathering market data, profiling prospects, prospecting through cold s and ultimately conducting field sales s (outside sales), face to face presentations andor small group presentations. RESPONSIBILITIES Market Research Complete initial research and compile data about specific target areas for establishing new REMAX franchise office locations. Includes gathering market share statistics and compiling a market study of every target market. Developing target lists of competing real estate offices, agents, managers and owners in specific areas. Maintain multiple databases of prospects and update on an ongoing basis. Prospecting and sales Determine prospective franchise candidates and develop prospect lists Conduct cold s and face to face sales presentations to develop prospects Make initial presentation to determine interest as a REMAX franchise owner Maintain and update database of prospects on an ongoing basis General Activities Seek out, research and profile information on prospects through prospecting and cold s Maintain current information on industry and market area activities and trends Assist in development and monitoring of market and sales forecasts Maintain inquiry, prospect, and applicant database QUALIFICATIONS Education Minimum 2 years college preferred Outgoing, energetic, self starter Strong organization skills Excellent people skills Enjoys new account sales activities Experience Minimum 2 years inside or outside sales andor customer service experience Previous business development, cold ing experience is required Background in outside sales is a plus Real Estate experience not necessary but is a plus Skills Proficient computer and internet research experience Microsoft office: word, excel, outlook, and power point Effective written and verbal communication skills Tele sales andor face to face selling experience Strong organizational skills required Interpersonal communication skills required Consultative sales experience is a big plus Real Estate experience not required, but helpful
