Im currently looking for a job with a small to medium size company. I grew up in a hard working nonprofit sector jobs in Ava MO, Orangetree FL, Kimball TN, Firth ID, McGregor MN middle class family. My parents owned a welding and sheet metal fabricating business. As a I learned the valve of hard work. I learned to run a power saws, drill presses, punch presses, forming machines and pipe cutters among other industrial equipment. Eventually I learned to weld, use spray painting equipment and make pickups and deliveries. This usually meant working on weekends and vacations. In high school I usually had two if not three jobs and carried a full class load. I worked at Jacobsons Department Store in sales, display, inventory control. Summers I worked at a roadside farmers market, and on their farm driving tractors and harvesting produce. During my college years I always had a job during summers and vacation times. When I started at a local refrigeration company in I was hired to do design work and drafting. But I quickly realized that sometimes I needed to fill in where ever things needed to be done. Sometime I was ask to do these jobs sometime I volunteered. Id drive forklifts to load and unload trucks even if this meant working late or Saturday and Sunday. I sometime made deliveries to jobs after my regular 8 hours. Some jobs required me leaving home at 3:00 or 4:00 AM to delivery materials to a jobsites or to attend construction meetings around the state. Others times it meant leaving after at 4:00 or 5:00 PM then arriving home at 11:00 PM or later. I tried to do whatever it would take to get a job done to keep our customers happy. Doing service dispatching, going in on weekends to build and finish custom equipment so it would be ready for Monday delivery. Working weekends to complete drafting projects. I believe my early years at my parents business as well as all my work experience helped me gain knowledge of the basic principles of electrical wiring and plumbing. I have never been one to not take on a challenge and complete the task to the best of my ability on time. Over the years I believe project where given to me not only to help the company that I worked for succeed, but because my employers trusted me to complete them on time and correctly. I began working my way into job supervision for new projects, remodels and custom built equipment. I was ask eventually to take on the job of Safety Director for Michigan. Seven years ago I was given the Fleet Managers job as well as Refrigerant Compliance Officer as part of my added responsibilities.
