Value Place Hotels Position Description Guest Attendant: Summary: Assumes the responsibilities of the front office operations when the Property Manager is off property or off duty. Assist the Facilities Supervisor in housekeeping with the day�s needs. Responsible for proper administration of keys. Responsible for knowing property emergency procedures. Manage inventory and assist Property Manager with budget control. Ensure proper uniform standards are being followed throughout departments. Responsible for knowing area attractions and services in order to accommodate guest�s needs. Responsible for knowing Value Place services and amenities in order to accommodate guest�s needs. Review studio inventory and work within Value Place Guidelines. Assists PM in maintaining accounts. Package product using specified containers, spacers, and protective padding. � Affix shipping labels, identifying information andor shipping instructions on packed containers. � Determines method of shipment by examining items to be shipped, destination, utilizing routing guide supplied by customer, rate, and time of shipment. � Prepares all proper shipping documents necessary to complete shipment. (packing list, commercial invoice, SED etc) � Documents items shipped by recording identifying information of items and transport information. � Maintain pick-up schedule of outside carriers. � Load Carriers based upon pick-up schedule � Comply with all applicable quality system requirements. � Maintain a safe and clean work area; this includes but is not limited to the removal of boxes and trash from the work area.
